Care & Supervision of School-Age Children Program
CASSAC is a regional collaborative funded
by the CARES ACT

FOR FAMILIES
This program provides up to 100% tuition assistance.
Required Qualifications:

Peninsula residents only

Must be working or attending training for employment

Must have at least one child enrolled in a public school that is not offering in-classroom learning 5 days/week

Families who are already enrolled, but have not paid for the upcoming week can apply

Household income can be up to 100% AMI
-
All vouchers will be provided for 6 weeks (regardless of the number of children in the household). Families can reapply for further assistance beginning the 5th week.

This program provides up to 140% of your base tuition rate through grant-vouchers
Required Qualifications:

For NEW enrollments only

Funds can be used to pay for PPE and other allowable expenses related to expanding capacity for school-age children

Must be currently enrolling or able to enroll children attending virtual public school programs for full-day programming

Must be located in a city/county on the Virginia Peninsula (Gloucester, Hampton, James City County, Mathews, Newport News, Poquoson, Williamsburg, York County)

Must be licensed, with waivers or documented exemptions with accepted standards
