About the Event

The connections we make with families in our early learning classrooms are crucial to high quality family engagement. It is important that families are welcomed stakeholders in the education and development of their young child. This second of a three-part training series will support your understanding of establishing relationships that are authentic, respectful, and creates mutual partnerships between the early childhood educator and the family. Participants will also have an opportunity to identify barriers that prohibit authentic engagement and explore strategies that allows families to have an active role in creating inclusive classroom environments.
