About the Event
This session will provide information on the importance of play and how it affects the healthy growth and development of infants and toddlers. Participants will learn to identify the types and stages of play and how young children learn about themselves and the world around them through play. Ideas and strategies for early care providers to use in planning appropriate activities and spaces for infant and toddler play that are conducive to learning will be provided.
