About the Event
The recipe for scaffolding includes offering children the right help, at the right time, and in just the right way. These components of high quality feedback support the learning and development of young children. Early childhood educators like yourself practice some form of scaffolding each day without knowing it. This Power Hour will provide teachers an opportunity to identify and explore specific teaching practices that can support their efforts in responding to young children’s actions, answers, or comments during their day-to-day interactions in a way that scaffolds learning.
