About the Event

This training will support teacher interactions that benefit social/emotional and cognitive development with infants and toddlers, age birth to 36 months, whether they are cared for in the same or different classrooms.  Participants will receive an overview of the framework of the Infant and Toddler CLASS tools and become familiar with the terminology.

Infants quickly become toddlers!  Within a span of 3 years (birth to three), young children’s developmental needs dramatically change. Caregivers need to be aware of how their interactions with children in this age range can meet the changes and challenges young children experience. Come and find out how your interactions may be the same or different as you help the youngest participants in your programs grow and develop.
