Taking a Deeper Dive into Concept Development

Preschoolers are engaged in play and learning activities throughout the day that can be opportune moments to promote and support their higher-level thinking skills. Concept Development supports teachers’ effort to encourage young children to think about the how and why of learning. This Power Hour will take a deeper dive and identify and discuss a variety of teaching methods that can be used to support the way preschoolers analyze, reason, and problem solve during their interactions within the classroom environment.
