Virginia Foundation Blocks (Registration closed)

Come learn about the VA state standards for four-year-olds. The Foundation Blocks are a research-based list of minimum standards in literacy, mathematics, science, history and social science, health and physical development. These standards outline the skills needed to be successful in kindergarten. Participants interested in being part of one of our Preschool cohorts must attend this training and one of the Milestones of Child Development trainings prior to the beginning of the first cohort meeting. A copy of the VA Foundation Blocks will be mailed to you. You will need this for the training.
