A 41-year old, Spanish speaking, military mom had been struggling to get enrolled in WIC. After getting connected to a specialist at FirstSpark, we were able to help her complete the paperwork and connect her to home visiting services.
A young military career woman had been surprised by her pregnancy. Our FirstSpark resource specialist was able to be a listening ear, a friendly and safe space to talk through her fears and concerns for the future.
One young woman, just learning she was pregnant, experienced the sudden loss of her family home and car because of a tornado. Now staying with extended family, she also has the resources provided to her by FirstSpark.
